Hosting for Rocky Laporte

Hosting one show Thursday at seven and two shows Friday and Saturday at 7:00 and 9:45.

18+ PG Show

Rocky LaPorte’s appeal comes from his everyman, streetwise style of comedy. Delivering laughs in his trademark Brooklyn accent, he has become one of the most sought after comedians in the country, and he just recently appeared on on the season 8 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing! Rocky received 5th place out of 10 contestants. A former Chicago truck driver and dock worker, Rocky has accumulated a slew of performances throughout his career, including being a featured comic on Showtime‘s The Godfathers of Comedy, a special starring five of America’s most hilarious Italian-American comics. On the big screen, he has been seen in two Tim Allen movies – Crazy on the Outside and The Shaggy Dog.

Rocky traveled with Drew Carey to Iraq to entertain the troops and was seen on the Showtime special Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie. Rocky has filmed his own Comedy Central Presents special and was voted the network’s second most popular comedian in a nationwide poll. He has performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and appeared on A&E‘s Evening At The Improv and VH1‘s Stand-Up Spotlight, along with sitcom appearances on Cheers and his own NBC pilot called the Rocky LaPorte Show.

Rocky has opened for the likes of Garry Shandling, Drew Carey, Tim Allen, Louie Anderson, Hootie and the Blowfish and the Righteous Brothers, just to name a few. His clean, blue-collar style of comedy continues to increase in popularity as he travels the country.

Hosting for Ian Bagg
Feb
9
to Feb 11

Hosting for Ian Bagg

Hosting for Ian Bagg. One show Thursday at 7 and two shows Friday and Saturday at 7:00 and 9:45.

Ian Bagg is a world-touring comedian and the cohost of the weekly hockey podcast, “Enjoying Orange Slices with Jeff and Ian.”

Early in his life, he discovered a love for hockey. Whether he was involved in minor, junior, pro, or friends getting together to play shinny, he loved hockey! He went to some camps and was cut, realizing he had no chance of making the pros. He knew it was time to use his natural talent to make people laugh.

Life has been fantastic for this energetic and wildly funny boundary-pushing entertainer. Touring nonstop across North America, he has started taking over the world with Australia, China, and the Middle East. With Europe being one of his latest stops. His fast-paced, off-the-cuff, quick-witted, animated style has him winning over television audiences. He placed in the finals of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” He made appearances on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and “The Tonight Show,” a half-hour comedy featured on Comedy Central and HBO, not to mention one-hour specials on Showtime  “Getting to know you” and Amazon Prime “Conversations”! It also has earned him roles in award-winning movies like MVP 2! (humble brag)

His fast-paced multi-direction show has made patrons want to see multiple shows on a weekend. The audience becomes characters in his performance as they answer questions. Most comedians have a monologue; Ian has a dialogue. Attend a show immediately and see why his high school history teacher asked Ian’s parents if there was something he should know about Ian.

Hosting for Pete Lee at Hilarities
Dec

to Dec 17

Hosting for Pete Lee at Hilarities

Joe will be Hosting for Pete Lee at Hilarities. There are shows at 7:00 Thursday - Saturday and shows at 9:30 Friday and Saturday.

Pete Lee was the first standup comedian to get a standing ovation on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and it resulted in him appearing on the show three times in the last year. This happened after Jimmy personally attended one of Pete’s live shows in NYC and immediately invited him on the show. Pete’s joyful humor comes from his Midwestern roots. Raised in Janesville, WI by divorced parents and a 19-inch television, he was destined to pursue a career in entertainment. In 2005, Pete flew to New York to make his television debut on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, and the taping went so well that he decided to move to NYC. Soon after moving to NYC, he was selected to perform at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, where he was voted a standout performer. In 2008 Pete made his network television debut performing on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, finishing as a semi-finalist. That same year, he made his television acting debut on the CBS Soap Opera As The World Turns. At the end of 2008, he shot his own Comedy Central Half Hour Special, which earned him a cult following at comedy clubs, and the opportunity to perform over the next ten years at 500 colleges across the country.

In 2010 Pete began producing and editing his own shows for the Internet which led to getting his own web show on MSN.com called New York Minute:30. His web shows attracted the attention of television talent scouts and in 2012 he was hired to be a writer and cast member on FUSE TV’s Video on Trial and the NFL Network’s Top 10’s. In 2013, Pete was hired as a cast member on VH1’s Best Week Ever, where he was a writer and cast member for three seasons. That same year, he made his late night television debut on CBS’s Late Show with David Letterman.

Currently, Pete is a cast member of TruTV’s Greatest Ever and he hosts his own segment on Nickelodeon’s Nick Toons, in co-ordination with the NFL, called NFL Rush. He’s also a regular on TruTV’s Comedy Knockout and Comedy Central’s Roast Battle. Additionally, showing off his writing versatility, he was hired by the Duck Dynasty folks to be a writer/producer, and he helped develop the hit Duck Dynasty spin-off Going Siral. He also starred in a documentary titled I Need You to Kill that is now available on iTunes and Amazon. Most recently, Pete became a writer/cast member on the hit show This Week at the Comedy Cellar on Comedy Central, where he can be seen every Friday night at 11pm ET.

Pete just moved to Los Angeles, California, and he launched a new podcast titled Snugglestorm, mostly as a vehicle to sit down with LA comics and make new friends in California. But he’ll be visiting his old New York friends often, because Jimmy Fallon officially named him a regular on The Tonight Show.

If you haven’t heard of Pete Lee yet, prepare to tell other people.
